Office & Yards
From the office in Rotterdam we oversee several locations with different functions. Such as the dock at the office in Rotterdam where mainly equipment maintenance takes place and the large yard in Ridderkerk where heavy machinery such as the PLM 15000 E and the Grove RT890E are housed. The shipyard in 's-Gravendeel that is used by sister company SSN for the safe recycling of shipwrecks, offshore platforms and other objects. And finally, Hapo is co-owner of a former shipyard in Hoboken, near the port of Antwerp, which is used by internationally renowned steel construction company Smulders. In the dynamic Rotterdam harbour area the Hapo office and an adjacent yard is located. From here we plan and oversee the worldwide deployment of our fleet and we prepare our equipment for deployment. MSVA Marine Services is also located here and is specialised in maintenance, modifying and build of vessels in all varieties.

Near Rotterdam, in Ridderkerk, our most prominent yard is located alongside the river Nieuwe Maas. It includes a diverse range of construction- and industrial halls ranging from approximately 200 to 5,000 m², a spacious outdoor area of almost 10,000 m² and a quay of about 200 meters. Also Hapo provides several hoisting and quay services.

Hapo is co-owner of a unique former shipyard in Hoboken, Belgium. Steel foundations for offshore windmills and other large structures have been produced here for almost 20 years. The location is ideal: the production hall is located next to the Schelde, which makes worldwide shipping by water possible. The site in Hoboken is approximately 130,000 m² in size and has 2 production halls with a total surface area of 27,000 m². Thanks to the very heavy gantry crane with a span of 125 m wide and 75 m high, pieces of up to 560 tons can be lifted over an area of 60,000 m².
This location is in use by Smulders, an internationally renowned steel construction company with an established reputation in the engineering, production, supply and assembly of heavy, technically complex steel structures. Smulders has more than 1,000 employees spread over locations in Belgium, Poland and the United Kingdom and is part of the Eiffage group.

Hapo is also co-owner of this lay-up harbour in the Rotterdam area. Dutch Harbour is the ideal place to leave vessels for a longer period of time. The port has all necessary facilities and recently a secure storage place was added. Ships up to 180 meter in length and with a max draft of up to 5,5 meter can be accommodated.
