Recently our Missing Link underwent an inspection and examination to make sure she will perform up to the highest standards. This ment she underwent a series of activities involving replacements and maintenance. Some examples are the replacement of boomhoist cables, wiresheaves and fastenings. After completing this stage the Missing Link was put to the test by hoisting at 110% of her maximum capacity. This means instead of 250 Tons we tested with 275 Tons. This is done so we can reassure that all hoisting done by the Missing Link in the accepted range will always proceed to a reliable result.
