Last Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 September Hapo’s cranebarge the Missing Link was present at the World Port Days in Rotterdam. Located next to the imposing KPN and ‘de Rotterdam’ building, visitors were welcome to visit the Missing Link.

On deck visitors where informed about Hapo’s activities, but above all about the close and unique cooperation with sister company SSN (Scheepssloperij Nederland).

SSN displayed and demonstrated some of their equipment, in the form of a hydraulic cutter and some big parts of scrap. The cherry on the cake was that an artist had painted a head of a dragon on the cutter, which was really appreciated by the public.

Young and old enjoyed both days and lots of familiar faces visited Hapo. We really enjoyed participating in the World Port Days, which was very satisfying! For the grand finale the Missing Link was also the center of the eveningshow, where DJ Niles Alister perfomed his arts on a stunning height of 30 meters in the midst of the massive fireworkshow and boat parade.
