The very first crane barge that was purchased bij Hapo International Barges was the Missing Link, which deliveres loyal and reliable heavy duty for almost 30 years now. In the 80’s founder Henk Poot was known for his remarkable intuition. Not only did people question his desire to buy the crane, but also this unusual size. In no time people saw that his flawless insight had put him in an ideal situation. There turned out to be a demand for this unusual size which no other could provide. Thus the Missing Link became the single most important crane in the business.

His insight still rules to this day. The Missing Link is used intensively all year round in a wide range of different works which requires what other cranes can’t provide.
