Recently Hapo International Barges successfully completed the ISO certification process. Hapo is now certified for: ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment) and ISO 45001 (Safety).

In the past Hapo sister company Scheepssloperij Nederland (SSN) had “the full package” of ISO certification. Now the activities of SSN have ended, we decided to put Hapo to the test. Logically, as working safely and responsibly are the basis of our heavy lifting operations.

The scope which has been accredited reads; Exploitation of floating and land-based cranes, pontoons, barges and yards and execution of salvage, disposal and dismantling operations. A perfect summary of our activities and just the thing our employees stand for.

The successful completion of the certification process means that we have yet made another step in professionalizing our organization. We continue to strive to become more efficient, effective and skilled by implementing professional standards.
