A better example of the close cooperation between Hapo and SSN does not exist. Last month SSN dismantled 6 boom and 2 gantrycranes in Rotterdam Waalhaven. The cranes were disassembled efficiently at location and then transported to the shiprecyclingyard in ‘s Gravendeel for further recycling. The total amount of steel is approximately 2000 tons.

Hapo supplied the required equipment for heavy lifting and transport by water: cranebarge the ‘Missing Link’, the ‘H-282’ barge and the ‘Sumitomo SCX-5000‘ crawler crane were deployed.
